Welcome to the Mississippi State Fair Antique Car Show (Click on pictures for larger versions)

We have now closed out our Stellar 39th annual Mississippi State Fair Car Show. Even though attendance was down through the door at the Trade Mart, we were able to collect more for Blair E. Batsons Childens Hospital due to extra effort on the part of our members. All of this is a tribute to the volunteer efforts of a lot of our members and friends. In the friends category, we could not survive without the assistance from Jamie Laird and his team at the Mississippi Trade Mart. Gloria, Tim and Ren’ are just a few that contributed daily. For many years our vote tickets for the Blair Batson collection have been printed by Donna Arnold with the Byram Banner in Byram. We have never paid her any money for this service. Any time you get a chance, please thank these people for their support. On to the the Winner of the coveted Peoples Choice Award. And the winner is James Drake with the pink 1957 Thunderbird. James had an inside salesman, Paul Trebotich who pushed ticket sales on this vehicle. The car is painted the Mary Kay Cosmetics pink color. Many thanks to James and Paul for supporting us with this entry. Coming up tied for second and third (hard to believe but true) is Bob & Lori Jackmans 1963 Thunderbird and Joe & Judy Steens 1941 Pontiac Business Coupe. Next year we are scheduled to be in the new Trade Mart.
